Cowboy Jack’s Mpls - “The Barn”
Cowboy Jack’s event hall on the second floor, The Barn, was built for live music and dancing, featuring bars on both sides, comfortable seating, and a spacious dance floor and stage. Now, with HYLTN hosting country line dancing and two-stepping nights at The Barn, it’s the closest experience the Twin Cities has to a line dancing bar.

Hamel VFW
The VFW features an average-sized wooden dance floor west of the Twin Cities, complete with sparkly lights and a bar for refreshments. James says the floor has a one-of-a-kind sound when boot-stomped. Seating is available around the floor, with chairs along the sides and some tables in the back for resting between dances. The venue also has a coat hall and a separate room for changing into dance shoes and storing bulky winter coats.
The bar accepts cash, cards, and Apple Pay. Food is not available on site, but you may bring your own or have it delivered. Outside beverages, including water, are not allowed. Parking is free.

St. Croix Event Center
Venue used mostly in 2025! This spacious dance floor northeast of the Twin Cities is perfect for simultaneous two-stepping and line dancing, with plenty of room for everyone to move freely. Comfortable seating areas let you relax and recharge between dances. The sprung floor provides the ideal balance of traction and glide, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience in a genuine ballroom setting. Convenient coat racks are available for hanging winter coats.
